Thank you
Our family was very pleased with all the arrangements. We thank Mount Peace for everything. I personally left with so much information to pass on. Thank you.
Deborah Morton was very helpful, she made it easy for us to chose our mothers headstone. She took me to see my mothers grave. I knew where it was beside my dad and she was very helpful in every way.
Miss Debra does a great job making you feel comfortable. She is very professional and caring. It has been a privilege working with Debra through this difficult process.
Just adore Mrs. Deb, very caring and professional, would recommend anyone here. God Bless.
This whole process has been amazing. Everything was explained perfectly and easy to understand. Ms. Debbie is absolutely fantastic.
In September of 2021, my nephew, his wife and myself visited Mount Peace to try and find my brother-in-law, Wayford Pitts’ grave. He was killed at age 18 in 1951 while fighting in the Korean War. We went to Section 24. Due to the fact that he was buried so long ago, the grass and other vegetation had completely covered most of the grave markers in this Section.
Upon my return home to Florida, I placed a call to Mount Peace Cemetery and spoke with Gina R. After explaining we could not find my brother-in-law’s grave, Gina said she would do some searching and try to locate where he was buried. I mentioned to Gina that I found his burial information on findagrave.com and she searched that site and confirmed that he was in fact buried at Mount Peace.
A few days later, a lady that visits the Veteran section regularly came in to the office and Gina was kind enough to ask her if she had any knowledge where my brother-in-law was buried. She said, “Yes, she did and was going to that Section that day and would put a flag close to the spot where his grave was”.
Gina called me and told me that with the help of this lady, the cemetery grounds crew were going to clear the ground cover and raise my brother-in-law’s grave marker. She was going to send me a picture once the work was completed. True to her word, I received a picture from Gina.
I will never be able to thank Gina enough for her effort in helping our family find Wayford’s grave. She went above and beyond the call of her responsibilities to help our family and we are so very appreciative of her commitment to help us!
Gina, you are truly a blessing to us and Mount Peace management is lucky to have someone like you with such a high commitment to helping family members find the final resting place of their loved ones. May God bless you!
Deborah is amazing! She has worked with me, kept me posted on having my great aunt’s grave plaque engraved. Deborah and Darla have been so kind, caring, friendly and very helpful. I first called to find out where my great great grandfather was buried and then to ask about having my great aunt’s plaque engraved. They also even offered to check the archives on other family members buried in the same lot. These 2 women are jewels. I am forever grateful for all Deborah has done for me and now my baby great aunt will have her name & date on her plaque after 96 years.
Deborah, Your kind expression of sympathy is deeply appreciated and gratefully acknowledged. I appreciate the support you gave me to select a plot for my mother, and thank you for excellent service and the perfect location.
